Sergio Armaroli is a multi-dimensional musician, an exceptional catalyst who plays a unique vision. Within a short space of time he got involved with a huge variety of projects recording with such diverse musicians as Roger Turner, Elliott Sharp, Harri Sjöström and Giancarlo Schiaffini. This solo vibraphone self portrait is at once positively, strikingly shocking, whilst carrying beautiful content. The vibraphone sustains perpetuity over Three Parts. It’s incredible just how much sound is wrung out of one man alone. But it’s not only the quantity of sounds that make this CD so special. It is the originality of ideas which is a true sign of real art.
